This past Saturday, five talented KHS students auditioned for and were accepted into the North Jersey Area Band (NJAB)! 🎉 With over 300 students from 30+ schools in Northern NJ auditioning, this is a huge accomplishment. It's also the first time since 2016 that we've had as many as five students make NJAB—an incredible milestone for our instrumental music program!

👏 Congratulations to:
🎵 Luca Anello-Fiorina (1st overall) and Hope Sirinides (3rd overall) - NJAB Wind Ensemble
🎵 Michael Piccolo, Emily Sun, and Aaron Charles - NJAB Symphonic Band

The audition process is rigorous and competitive, and these students’ preparation and discipline truly raised the bar. If you see them, please congratulate them on this well-deserved recognition!

The KHS new gym is temporarily closed for basketball due to safety concerns from floor issues. Practices and games are being relocated, with schedules adjusted to minimize disruptions. Please view the letter from our Supervisor of Athletics for more details.

Marking Period 1 (MP1) report cards are available for viewing on the Parent Portal as of 3:00 PM on Friday, November 15th, 2024.

To access your child’s report card, please log in to the Parent Portal and navigate to the Grades Tab. Once you have reviewed the report card, we kindly ask you to click the acknowledgment button to confirm that you have viewed it.

Kinnelon High School proudly presents THE INTERNET IS DISTRACT-- OH LOOK A KITTEN! on Friday and Saturday, November 15 (3 & 7PM) and November 16 (7PM).  Tickets: $15 general admission or $12 students/seniors.  Tickets are available online at kinnelonhs.ludus.com or at the door.  Don't miss it!

Micah only has twenty minutes to finish her paper on The Great Gatsby. She just needs to check a few facts on the internet first. Unfortunately, the web is a nefariously wacky place where boxing cats, Facebook lurkers, and pig-throwing games threaten to take over Micah's schoolwork, or worse. Will she finish her paper and escape with her life before the school bell rings?
